this chapter is kicking my ass... but don't worry, i'm working on it.
just as i have for the past-- how many months has it been now?-- four months. it's coming guys, i promise. i haven't given up on it yet, i just don't know how to write fight scenes.
hopefully a version i don't hate will be out on ao3 by the end of this week. no promises i won't go back and edit it, though. in my rereading of the earlier chapters, i've already found parts i freaking hate.

i've been working on making a comic-- dead and buried. i'll post updates here periodically! so far... well, it isn't going so well. i may or may not have accidentally deleted my first page when exporting it... grrrrrrr

i've been getting nosebleeds all day. i made the mistake of getting in the shower with a nosebleed about an hour ago and oh god it looked like a murder scene in there just blood everywhere. and it was like splattering on the walls and shit, dexter would have a field day with the art i was creating on the tile walls.

wanted to play with negative space. also, i have a really bad headache and genuinely want to blow my brains out into the wall behind me.

after a long period of definite art block, i dug up an old image of pistol that i'd drawn over a year ago to redraw on ms paint. he still looks a little off; i think the proportions of his head to his torso to his legs are a wonky, but it's fine. someday, i'll probably redraw this one again, since i quite like the pose.

wanted to experiment with irl photos. i also found a really nice screentone filter while working on a school project, so i used that to create the effects! i'll probably be using this filter more often later as well-- love the way it looks.

original version had more screentone shading on her face, but i hated it. i STILL don't have a stylus, so by the end of this, my fingers were cramping up like cray cray!

can't figure out how to up the quality without redoing the whole thing.
perhaps i thought it would be some kind of life changing event; like i would feel different, older. like it would make me a better person than i really was.
