this is kind of a place for me to dump a bunch of links & websites that i find particularly interesting or useful! it is definitely a work in progress, as i'll add to this whenever i find another cool website or tool.
i'll try to provide little summaries of every website as i put them on here, and i'll do my best to keep things organized. some websites might show up as duplicates if they fit into two different categories.

an open source ms paint that runs on browser! perfect for everything, from in-class doodles to making ur next pixel art masterpiece.
photokakophotokako is an image editing site in general, but i specifically use it for its screentone filter. it's easy to use and works very well! most of the backgrounds on this site have been run through it.
ditheritsimilar use to photokako! it dithers ur images very nicely.
gifcitiesan internet archive project with all the dumb gifs you could ask for. most of the gifs on this site are from gifcities! you can find literally ANYTHING on here.
ascii art archiveliterally just ascii art. while i don't use ascii often, i often peruse this site just bc it's so cool.
anime stills archivenow you will never have to stoop so low as to have to ask for the sauce under a dumb post in r/animeirl... just drop the screencap here and it'll find it for you!
file hosterneocities refuses to host certain file types (such as mp3) unless you have a supporter account... as a fellow broke high school student, use catbox!!! aside from the occasionally risque waifus in the bottom right corner that might get you weird looks in the library, this is my HOLY GRAIL.
