this chapter is kicking my ass... but don't worry, i'm working on it.
just as i have for the past-- how many months has it been now?-- four months. it's coming guys, i promise. i haven't given up on it yet, i just don't know how to write fight scenes.
hopefully a version i don't hate will be out on ao3 by the end of this week. no promises i won't go back and edit it, though. in my rereading of the earlier chapters, i've already found parts i freaking hate.
summary
Denji can't remember the last two years of his life. And that's okay. Because everything is fine: he has a kid sister that he loves, he has a whole apartment to himself, and for once in his life, he's surrounded by actual girls at school.
And it's all okay until it isn't. He keeps finding things in his apartment that aren't his. His stalker classmate keeps dropping hints that he may or may not have single-handedly taken down Japan's largest yakuza organization. He keeps getting nightmares: nightmares about elevator doors and dyed auburn hair and the aforementioned stalker classmate.
What does Denji do when his past starts to unravel and the memories he'd oh so carefully packed away start resurfacing?
